General business
Election of officers Mark Benger was proposed as Chairman and was accepted , Bob Worral was thanked for his service there was vote of thanks by all present
Dave Grimshaw was voted in as new Committee man to replace Richard Rowlands Dave will cover Grant applications and Youth Development a vote of thanks to Richard by all present .
All other Committee members agreed to stand for another 12 months
Proposals
- When booking trips members will sign and date the Booking sheet Proposed P Whiting Voting Unanimous
- Non Attending members must supply a signed letter with their trip choices which will be held on file. Any changes must be notified in writing also signed. All trips either Token Trips or non token trips will be recorded and it will be the members duty to notify the Secretary of any non token trips which they subsequently cannot go on prior to the Tuesday meeting before the trip, otherwise they will be included in the draw and expected to pay proposed P Whiting.
- The Club cover the cost of a single trip per year for members unable to fish due to Illness P Whiting.
- The Committee reserves the right to refuse membership of the club in cases of best interest of the club . The Committee
- New Membership class for Non Fishing Social Members. Fee to be discussed but proposed at £5.00 NFSM would be able to attend and vote at meetings and go on trips if places are available and would be given equal rights as other classifications of membership other than Tokens to place on fishing trips NFSM would not count in the 40 member maximum rule for membership of MSA Proposed P Whiting
- No Mobile phones on trips except on silent with vibrator alert proposed Mark Benger
- Maximum fuel based on a MPG of 30 to venue proposed D Powell
- Long distance trips Fuel divided by all on trip more local trips drivers to sort out fuel with passengers D Powell. . A counter proposal was voted on instead of the original. This was that the cost of fuel on all trips is divided by the occupants of each vehicle
- Adopt the proposed Shore Fishing Rules as circulated with these Proposals proposed the Committee
