Trip report
Set sail at 8:15 skipper stopped where birds were feeding and feathers produced Mackerel and 5 Herring .Skipper said they were the First Herring he had seen that year.
Saw some Porpoise on the way out.
Sailed out to the edge of the Constable Bank and anchored.
Dabs and a solitary Plaice were soon being caught along with Pouting, Dogfish, small Bullhuss, Grey Gurnard, Whiting, Long spined Sea Scorpion and Poor Cod.
11 species not bad for the beginning of November
Junior Mark Costello aged 10 caught a Lobster of about 2 lbs but sportingly put it back as it was carrying eggs.
Fish were plentiful at times with 2 and 3 at a time Mackerel were caught at anchor coming to Bait and Feathers

Got back ashore at 15:45
