Milnrow is located close to the boundary between Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire with good links to the motorway network via Junction 21 Milnrow of the M62.

Rochdale 3 miles away is our main town.Oldham is around 5 miles away

 

Milnrow is idealy located for access to many fishing venues ,Members can be fishing on the Mersey or Fleetwood within 1 Hour of leaving Milnrow, North Wales and the East coast ports are all within reach in under 2 Hours.

 

The club is keen to promote Sea Angling from Boat and Shore and has a wide range of members.

Membership Types

• Adult, 40
• Junior, 4  (more members children take part as guests)
• Concessions including disabled junior and unwaged
• Life Members ( members with over 20 years membership and over 60 years of age) 2
• Social Members 1

 

The club membership is drawn mainly from Rochdale and Greater Manchester but we also have members from Yorkshire and North Wales.

 

At the present time Membership is closed for new members there is a limit on Adult membership of 40 members, If after you have checked out the web site you want to know more please make contact via the guest book or enquiry pages.. Vacancies for membership are available from January 2011

 

Spaces on boat trips and private trips are sometimes available so please dont let this put you off making contact.

 

The Club promotes Conservation and always returns Tope ( now compulsory in England ) Rays and other sport fish, although good quality eating fish are always welcome.

 

Shore fishing matches are fished on a catch and return basis, and boat competitions exclude total weight competitions.

 

The Club is affiliated to the Welsh Federation of Sea Anglers  (WFSA) and has Third party insurance of £5 Million.

 

Boat Trips 2010  Year Planner

 

All paid up members and Life members can book their Boat trips now , Supply the Secretary with a signed trip list with your Token trips Now.

 

Trips have now been booked for 2010 and include Jersey, The Mersey,Fleetwood,Caernarfon, Dartmouth, Holyhead, Humber (Grimsby),  Rhyl,  Whitby,and Weymouth. Click Here for 2010 trip list

 

Shore Trips 2010 

 

Shore trips for 2010 have to be agreed  watch this space. Venues to include  The Mersey, North Wales , The Fylde Coast and Cumbria. .

 

 

The Club also runs Adult and Junior Competitions where Adult members fish with Juniors as a team to Coach Junior anglers and have a funday out.

 

Small Boat Angling

 

Members of the club also have an interest in the Small Boat Angling scene with 7 boats between them and  trips are scheduled each year.
